Montréal Victoire took care of business against New York Sirens with a 3-1 victory at Little Caesars Arena in Detroit on Saturday. The neutral-site win keeps Montréal firmly in second place at 46 points, five ahead of Minnesota.

Marie-Philip Poulin continues to lead the Victoire offense with 26 points in 30 games, including a league-leading 19 goals. Laura Stacey has 22 points in 27 games. The duo has been the most productive forward pairing in PWHL this season.

Abby Roque added 18 points from the middle of the ice. Erin Ambrose has been steady from the blue line with 18 points in 28 games, including 14 assists. Shiann Darkangelo chipped in 17 points through 29 games.

Ann-Renee Desbiens has been exceptional in goal for Montréal. She carries a .932 save percentage and a 1.86 goals-against average through 21 starts this season, with a 15-2 record.

New York could not generate enough to keep up. Sarah Fillier leads the Sirens with 29 points in 30 games, putting her among the top scorers in the league. But production beyond Fillier has been inconsistent. Casey O'Brien has 16 points in 21 games, and Jincy Roese has contributed 14 points from defense.

Kayle Osborne took the loss in goal for the Sirens. She has an 8-12 record with a .905 save percentage this season.

The Sirens sit sixth with 27 points and are running out of time to make a push. Montréal, meanwhile, looks locked into second behind Boston.

Montréal returns to Place Bell for their next home game. New York heads back to Northwell Health Ice Center.
